Cyfrowy Polsat Group has just published very good operational and financial results for Q1 2017. As a consequence of the consistent pursuit of its long-term development strategy, the group has recorded growth of both its operating and financial results, which exceeded analysts’ expectations.
Cyfrowy Polsat Group published very good operational and financial results for Q3 2016 for both segments, as well as for its major product lines. The good results are manifested by such items as growth of the number of contract services to over 13 million – now accounting for nearly 80% of all the services, lowest churn level in the past three years and stable ARPU growth, as well as continuation of positive trends in the operations of TV Polsat channels.
Cyfrowy Polsat Group has just published very good operating and financial results for Q2 and H1 2016. Major developments and achievements of the past several months include: finalization of the process of acquisition of 100% of Midas S.A. shares, excellent sales and audience results related to UEFA EURO 2016, Cyfrowy Polsat’s corporate rating being increased by Moody’s and start of implementation of the new integrated system which will support sales, customer care and billing for Polsat Group’s products and services.
Tomasz Szeląg, Polsat Group’s CFO who is responsible for financial matters in Zygmunt Solorz‐Żak’s capital group, will now become a member of the Supervisory Boards of the Group’s companies. Katarzyna Ostap-Tomann will assume the function of a Management Board Member on Cyfrowy Polsat’s and Polkomtel’s boards.
As an element of further operational integration of Plus and Cyfrowy Polsat, and also in connection with the pursued strategy of development on the bundled services’ market, Polsat Group will implement a new integrated system supporting sales and customer care as well as a convergent billing system for its products and services. The system will be implemented in cooperation with HUAWEI who will provide the IT systems and who will assume responsibility for the implementation process as the integrator.
In Q1 2016 Cyfrowy Polsat continued its effective strategy of provision of integrated services which it offered by means of its smartDOM program.
Polsat Group invites filmmakers to submit interesting projects which the Group might support in terms of production, promotion and distribution under the new program called Digital Filmmakers Zone (Cyfrowa Strefa Twórców). A good idea is what counts, as well as the potential of a given film for reaching wide cinema and television audience, not only in Poland but also and the international arena. During the official ceremony summing up this year’s edition of the List 500 of the largest Polish enterprises, Cyfrowy Polsat Capital Group was awarded with the Eagle of Rzeczpospolita daily in the category Best infrastructure, trade and non-financial services company.
Tomasz Szeląg, the CFO of Polsat Group, was promoted and will now be responsible for broadly understood finances in the entire capital group of Zygmunt Solorz‐Żak.
To be able to accomplish the challenges ahead of him in the best way possible, apart from the currently held functions Tomasz Szeląg will also become a member of the corporate authorities of other companies as a Supervisory Board member, a Management Board member or a company proxy.
