Tomasz Szeląg, Polsat Group’s CFO who is responsible for financial matters in Zygmunt Solorz‐Żak’s capital group, will now become a member of the Supervisory Boards of the Group’s companies. Katarzyna Ostap-Tomann will assume the function of a Management Board Member on Cyfrowy Polsat’s and Polkomtel’s boards.
Tomasz Szeląg will be performing the tasks related to the supervision and management of the Group’s finances from the level of ownership control by becoming a member of the Supervisory Boards of the Group’s companies. He is already a member of the Supervisory Boards of Telewizja Polsat Sp. z o.o., ZE PAK S.A. and Plus Bank S.A., and now he will be appointed to the Supervisory Boards of Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. and Polkomtel Sp. z o.o. As a result of the above, he will no longer sit on the Management Boards of these Companies.
“This is a promotion and a step forward in Tomasz Szeląg’s career in our Group. We have reached the conclusion that he will be able to fulfill his tasks related to managing and supervising the Group’s finances much more effectively from the level of ownership control, which is a higher level than management,” said Zygmunt Solorz-Żak.
Katarzyna Ostap-Tomann will take up the position of a Member of the Management Boards of Cyfrowy Polsat and Polkomtel. Until now she has been Tomasz Szeląg’s deputy in the Group and she already acts as a member of the Management Board of Telewizja Polsat. The appointment of Katarzyna Ostap-Tomann as the CFO is a guarantee of continuation of the hitherto financial policy of the Group.
The changes will take effect from 1 October 2016.
