Polsat TV will launch two new, regular, 24-hour premium sports channels – Polsat Sport Premium 1 and Polsat Sport Premium 2, available in the new Super HD quality and without any advertisements, and four additional premium television services, which will show UEFA Champions League and Europa League matches in the next three years. All sixteen matches of each round of the Champions League will be broadcast live starting from the new season.

The Home Internet 300 is expected to be added to Plus and Cyfrowy Polsat’s offer in the next few days. It is the latest generation solution and the next step in the development of this unique product which has been successfully offered by Cyfrowy Polsat Group on the Polish market since 2014. Cyfrowy Polsat placed purchase orders for a combined block of approximately 32% of shares in Netia from its two major shareholders. The total purchase price has been set at PLN 638.8 million. Cyfrowy Polsat intends also to announce a tender offer in order to achieve a stake of no more than 66% of the total number of votes at the General Meeting of Netia.

Polsat Group continues its development strategy for the television production and broadcasting segment as, pursuant to an agreement executed with ZPR Media Group, it acquires 100% of shares in the companies owning Eska TV, Eska TV Extra, Eska Rock TV, Polo TV and Vox Music TV channels, as well as a 34% stake in the company owning Fokus TV and Nowa TV stations, and concluded a preliminary share purchase agreement pertaining to further 15% of shares in that company to be acquired in the future.

A free Wi-Fi service was launched today at the Copernicus Science Center at the initiative of Plus network. The Wi-Fi service can be used both in the Center’s building as well as in the adjacent Park Odkrywców (Discovery Park).

 The Wi-Fi service offered at the premises of Copernicus Science Center is a free service, however access to the Internet is limited to half an hour at a time, after which one can log on again.

New technological solutions in Plus network: aggregation of 50 MHz in three bands: 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz, launching of 256 QAM modulation and implementation of MIMO 4x4.

The 10th World Games of Non-Olympic Disciplines (World Games 2017) will start on July 20th in Wrocław. During the 10th edition of this international sport event for sport disciplines which are not present at Olympic Games, over 3500 sportsmen will fight for medals in more than 30 disciplines.

Starting from August 2018, for three consecutive years (till 2021) all the matches (over 1000) of UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League will be shown on Polsat channels only. Polsat Group has acquired, for Polish fans, exclusive rights for showing the CL and EL matches across all distribution channels, including TV, the Internet and mobile devices. The 2018/2019 season will be a new chapter in the history of the Champion’s League and Europa League thanks to numerous novelties and improvements introduced by UEFA for viewers and fans.

Just before the start of spring programming, TV Polsat maintains high viewership figures. The station had the best viewership results in February in the 4+ group, and in the 16-49 group it lost just 0.1 percentage point to TVN which already airs its new shows from the spring programming.

Plus has introduced a new offer I+ Gas (JA+ Gaz), which is currently addressed to households and is available from March 1, 2017 only at stationary points of sale of the combined sales network of Plus and Cyfrowy Polsat. The customer signs a comprehensive agreement for the period of 12 months with the guarantee of fixed price, thanks to which he/she will receive one invoice for the sale and distribution of gas.
