Polsat Sport channel’s journalists, sportscasters and experts will start permanent cooperation with Interia’s sports desk. This is the first stage of development of a service which equally with providing news coverage will be also placing importance on analyses, comments and unique video content offered by Polsat Group.
Artur Wichniarek, Dariusz Dziekanowski and Daniel Pliński are former players of the national football and volleyball teams. Thanks to their spot on analyses and their insider knowledge they have gained the respect and the liking of Polsat sport channels’ viewers. In October all three of them entered into cooperation with Interia’s sports desk team which will be publishing their columns and their comments.
Interia’s sports desk team has been also joined by the known Polsat Sport channel’s sports journalists. Jerzy Mielewski the winner of two Telekamera awards in the category Best Sportscaster, will be talking about volleyball events in Poland and abroad He will be supported by Marcin Lepa the leading volleyball reporter and an expert in Italian football Cezary Kowalski, known for his sharp pen and expressive opinions, will in turn comment on Polish and European football Paulina Chylewska one of the best female sports journalists in Poland, will be talking about sports from a slightly different angle Basketball fans will be glad to see Adam Romański. This Polsat Sport commentator is a walking encyclopedia of Polish and international basketball, a true aficionado who was for many years active in Polish Basketball Association.
“Strengthening the team is the first stage of development of Interia’s sports news service In near future we will also see product changes which will, among others, cover the sports services’ home page and modification of the results tables.” comments the head of Interia’s Sport service, Michał Białoński. “All of this, in combination with the support offered by the content provided by Polsat Sport and Eleven Sports channels, will make the offer of our service even more attractive.” adds Białoński.
According to a Gemius /PBI survey in August 2020 Sport Interia news service was visited by 2.2 million users who generated 27.9 million hits. At the same time the web pages and applications of the whole Polsat Interia Group recorded 18.3 million real users and 1.5 billion hits.
