Tobias Solorz
Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Tobias Solorz was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. in June 2021. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Management and Marketing at the University of Warsaw.
He has many years of professional experience in the areas of telecommunications, finance and controlling. He started his professional career in 2003 in Telewizja Polsat Sp. z o.o. In the years 2007-2008 he held the position of Promotion Manager in Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. From 2008 to 2010 he was a Member of the Management Board of Sferia S.A., where he also held the position of Marketing, Advertising, Sales and Operations Director until March 2011. From November 2011, he sat on the Management Board of Polkomtel sp. z o.o., the operator of the Plus network, where he served as President of the Management Board from February 2014 to March 2019. Tobias Solorz also sat on the Management Board of Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. from 2014 to 2019, initially as a Member of the Management Board, from December 2014 as Vice President of the Management Board and from 2016 to 2019 as President of the Management Board.
He is a Supervisory Board Member in Polkomtel sp. z o.o. and Telewizja Polsat Sp. z o.o. since 2019, in Grupa Interia sp. z o.o. since 2020 and Netia S.A. since 2022. He is also a member of the Supervisory Boards of, among others, Liberty Poland S.A., Polkomtel Business Development sp. z o.o. and Interphone Service sp. z o.o.. Since 2021, he has held supervisory positions in selected special purpose companies belonging to Port Praski Sp. z o.o. In 2022, he was appointed to the Supervisory Board of ZE PAK S.A., and since 2023 he has been on the Supervisory Board of PAK Polska Czysta Energia sp. z o.o. and its selected subsidiaries. He was appointed to the Supervisory Board of PGE PAK Energia Jądrowa S.A. in 2023. In addition, he is a member of the Board of the Polsat Foundation, one of the largest non-governmental organisations in Poland, which helps treat sick children and supports hospitals and medical centres across the country.
