The first in Silesia hydrogen refueling station has been launched in Rybnik under NESO brand

Polsat Plus Group and ZE PAK Group have constructed and launched the first in Silesia, and the second in Poland, public hydrogen refueling station serving cars and buses. The station will be to refuel, among others, 20 hydrogen-powered NesoBus city buses  produced by Polsat Plus Group and ZE PAK Group which have already started serving passengers in Rybnik. The town is one of the leaders of green energy transformation in Poland, with the buses and refueling station being one of the main elements of the emerging Rybnik Hydrogen District.

Polsat Plus Group sums up its performance in Q2 2023 – 5G Ultra solution offering data transfer rates of up to 1 Gbps, new broadcasting rights to sports events, wind farm tests

In Q2 2023 Polsat Plus Group presented new proposals in each segment of its operations: it launched the 5G Ultra solution with data transfer rates of up to 1 Gbps, it acquired naEKRANIE.pl portal as well as three TV 4FUN channels. It has also extended contract for broadcasting rights to European volleyball cup matches as well as acquired the rights to ORLEN Superliga and ORLEN Superliga Kobiet men’s and women’s handball league matches, while also starting trial electricity production from its first wind farms.

Plus expands 5G Ultra coverage

Already 4.2 million Polish residents in range of 5G Ultra network, more than 20 million in range of 5G

Plus, the leader in 5G technology, which already has more than 20 million Polish residents in range, launched 5G Ultra, an even faster mobile Internet, in mid-June. More than a month after the launch, the fiber-fast Internet technology is available to over 4.2 million Polish residents in 171 towns and cities, thanks to nearly 700 base stations. At the same time, Plus is expanding its range of devices supporting 5G Ultra.

Polsat Plus Group is taking over the naEKRANIE.pl website and 4FUN channels

Polsat Plus Group has become a majority shareholder in the companies that own the naEKRANIE.pl website and the 4FUN.TV, 4FUN KIDS and 4FUN DANCE TV channels.  At the same time, the companies entered into a long-term investment agreement under which they will jointly develop the existing 4FUN and naEKRANIE.pl businesses. Mateusz Górecki remains at the head of both companies in the rank of CEO.

Termination of cooperation between Cyfrowy Polsat and Moody's Investors Service

Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. announces that it decided not to prolong the agreement and to terminate its cooperation with Moody's Investors Service rating agency. Accordingly, Moody's has withdrawn the corporate rating assigned to the company.

The last rating assigned to the company by Moody's on October 5, 2022 was a long-term rating of "Ba3" with a negative outlook.

5G Ultra from Plus – mobile Internet access which is as fast as a fiber-optic connection – 1 Gbps

5G Ultra is a novelty for Plus customers – starting 12 June the fastest mobile Internet access in Poland will become even faster. The maximum data downloading speed in Plus 5G network will increase to 1 Gbps. The 5G Ultra services, which will be available to all for free, will be activated at 356 base stations in 98 towns and places over the next few days. The list of sites offering access to the fastest 5G Internet will be continuously expanded. Plus already offers smartphones and routers which support 5G Ultra technology.
