Polsat's Must be the Music is again the top‐rated talent show – last weekend it was watched by 1.5m more viewers than TVN’s Saturday rival, X Factor. Yesterday's episode of Must be the Music y , y p had an audience of 3,40,000. Now, after eight weeks on air, Must be the Music is the unquestionable leader of this season’s weekend talent shows, attracting an average viewership of 3.5m. The first semi‐final of Got to Dance also improved the show's ratings with an audience of 2,160,000 – almost 60,000 more than last week.

Recent results of Megapanel/PBI research for March 2013 record a significant increase in the number of users of ipla, placing the service on the first position among the audited VOD platforms. With the highest ever in its histroy result of 3.2 million real users, ipla outpaced the former leaders of this ranking.

Cyfrowy Polsat, in accordance with its strategy to provide complete multimedia products and services for the whole family, introduces changes to its brand communication, that include new slogan: „Twój Multimedialny Dom” ("Your Multimedia Home") and new icons. This is the highlight of the new phase in the consistent development of the company creating a broad portfolio of products for its customers. The changes in the communication are followed by new promotions that encourage combining the operator’s services into sets tailored to the needs of each family and testing new online services.

The offer of Cyfrowy Polsat has been enriched by a new set-top-box – PVR HD 7000 with a built-in hard drive and equipped with "record, stop, rewind" functions. It enables reception of channels in HD, and when connected to the Internet – also access to thousands of free audio-visual materials of the largest Polish Internet television – ipla. The device has been manufactured by Cyfrowy Polsat. This is the platform’s first in-house produced model that is equipped with an internal hard drive.

As we approach the next phase of the switch-off of analog television, Cyfrowy Polsat has prepared for customers an attractive ‘Great Deal’ within TV Mobilna service with DVB-T set-top box for PLN 1 and reduced subscription fee of PLN 9.90 for the package of additional channels as well as promotion for the DTH ‘Rodzinny HD’ package for PLN 14,90 and six months for free.

On June 28 this year, Cyfrowy Polsat has made a voluntary prepayment of the term loan incurred in 2011 for the acquisition of TV Polsat. The amount of the voluntary prepayment amounted to PLN 100 million and it will reduce both the principal and interest payments in the future periods.

On August 30, 2013, as a results of fulfillment of the precedent conditions, transaction of purchase of Polskie Media (broadcaster of TV4 and TV6) by Telewizja Polsat, for a total of PLN 99 million, including price for shares and adjustments related to enterprise value. At the same time also the sale of RS TV by Telewizja Polsat to EmiTel, for the total of PLN 45.5 million was finalized.

On September 10 this year, Cyfrowy Polsat has made another voluntary repayment of the term loan taken in 2011 for the acquisition of TV Polsat. The amount of undue payments amounted to PLN 100 million and will reduce both the principal, and interest in future periods.

Internet TV IPLA won the first prize in the category ‘Best Multimedia Product’ in the plebiscite ‘SAT Kurier Awards 2013’ organized by SAT Kurier editor. Prestigious statuettes for producers of the winning products and award-winning operatorswere given on October 3, during official ceremony SAT KRAK 2013 held in Krakow.

In a new promotion, Cyfrowy Polsat customers may visit their local Authorised Point of Sale and trade their DVB‐T set‐top boxes of any type for a PLN 1 HD satellite box and a promotional TV package of 46 subscription channels, free for six months.
