Pay-per-view

(PPV)

A service of paid access to selected TV content, frequently live sports broadcasts.

Post-paid

A system of purchasing services on a subscription basis, in which services are paid for after being used.

Pre-paid

Sale of a given operator’s services on a prepayment basis.

Prime time

The time when TV or radio stations have the largest audience and hence advertising income − prime time is when best programming content is broadcast.

Programme licence

The right to use (distribute) TV or radio channels in a precisely defined manner.
