Polsat Sport, Polsat Sport Extra and Polsat Sport News will broadcast over 200 hours of Wimbledon coverage. From June 26 until July 12, Polsat’s sports channels will broadcast from 3 to 8 hours of coverage daily. Polsat Sport will broadcast the most important matches played on the central and no. 1 courts, as well as all the matches of Polish players. Polsat Sport Extra will present “The Wimbledon Chronicle”, a daily review of the most important events of the tournament of the previous day.
The previous week was the best for Polsat Sport, Polsat Sport Extra and Polsat Sport News in terms of viewership this year. Polsat’s sports channels gathered 75% of the audience of all sports channels broadcasting in Poland.
Polsat Sport recorded weekly audience shares of 1.4% SHR and Polsat Sport Extra – 0.4% SHR. Polsat Sport News also had a growing audience share of 1.4% SHR in the entire surveyed population.
Telewizja Polsat is expanding its programming offer for football fans. In addition to matches of the Polish national team, matches in the qualifying competition for UEFA Euro 2016 and the Polish Cup, Polsat’s sports channels will broadcast matches of the Polish First League. The agreement is valid for three years, until the end of the 2017/2018 season.
This spring Polsat was the leader in terms of viewership in the commercial group of 16-49 year olds with an audience share of 13.8%. Thus Polsat came before TVN (13.1% SHR), TVP1 (8.76% SHR) and TVP2 (8.11% SHR). Polsat Capital Group also performed very well in the commercial group of 16-49 year olds, recording an audience share of 24% SHR.
The annual Children’s Day with Sopot Lifeguard Team and PLUS Mobile Network („Dzień Dziecka z Sopockim WOPR i siecią PLUS”) will take place this coming Saturday in Sopot. The event is the inauguration of the summer holiday season on the Baltic coast. The visitors will learn how to relax safely at seaside or lakeside, how to provide first aid, as well as how to contact rescue units in emergency situations. Apart from that, there will be numerous attractions, both for children and adults.
“I+ new possibilities” is Plus’s new strategic approach to its relations with customers. The new possibilities are multi-dimensional, which means that Plus will be implementing them in many areas, including the offer, the technological sphere and also the communication sphere.
A totally new communication platform is being launched to support Plus’s offers in all important market segments. New positioning, new colors, new faces, new possibilities. And on top of that, there are attractive offers which are focused on customers’ needs.
TV POLSAT continues its winning streak. After ranking no. 1 in the viewership ranking in Q1, Polsat also recorded a very successful April. Polsat turned out to be the viewership leader in the first month of spring in both viewer groups. It recorded 14.2% SHR in the commercial group and 12.5% SHR in the survey covering all viewers (age 4+). In the 16-49 group Polsat was ahead of TVN (12.8% SHR), TVP1 (8.14% SHR) and TVP2 (8.01% SHR) while in the survey covering all viewers, Polsat was ahead of TVP1 (12.1% SHR), TVN (11.2% SHR) and TVP2 (9% SHR).
In connection with the information regarding refinancing of its total debt being contemplated by Cyfrowy Polsat Group, Standard&Poor's Rating Services (S&P) placed Cyfrowy Polsat’s and Polkomtel’s ratings on its CreditWatch Positive.
Polkomtel Sp. z o.o. received a Certificate of the Association of Energy Trading which confirms that the operator of Plus network joined the Code of “Best Practices of Electric Energy Sellers”.
The Certificate confirms that the company who received it had undergone an audit and offers to its customers clear and transparent terms of contract, without any legal tricks or hidden additional fees. The audit was performed by an external auditor - TUV Rheinland sp. z o.o. under the Code of “Best Practices of Electric Energy Sellers” prepared by the Association of Energy Trading.
