Polsat Plus Group received the Company of the Year Award during the official gala at the 31st Economic Forum in Karpacz. The justification of the decision underscored not only the success of Cyfrowy Polsat and the Polsat Plus Group in the sphere of business but also the social and charity initiatives of Polsat and of its founder, Mr. Zygmunt Solorz.
“Polsat’s initiatives in this sphere make this company absolutely unique among Polish companies,” said Piotr Wachowiak, the Rector of the Warsaw School of Economics in the laudation. He recalled Polsat Foundation’s activities and the company’s support, worth several dozen million zloty, which it provided to Ukraine.
Polsat Plus Group’s Strategy 2023+, which relies on clean energy, as well as NesoBus hydrogen-powered bus which was designed and manufactured in Poland were also presented at the forum. The visitors to Polsat Plus Group’s zone could watch a film presenting the climatic changes and the Group’s activities aimed at conserving and preserving the natural environment.
The 31st Economic Forum took place in Karpacz on 6-8 September 2022. The event is the biggest, in Central and Eastern Europe, platform for exchange of opinions between the representatives of the business, the public administration and the non-governmental organizations. Important social issues, such as safety and security, economic growth prospects, contemporary challenges and crises are among the topics addressed by the forum. Awards are presented by the Economic Forum’s Program Board every year.
