Cyfrowy Polsat one of the best managed companies in Central and Eastern Europe

Cyfrowy Polsat – the biggest media-and-telecommunications group in Poland with 6 million contract customers, providing 16,3 million RGUs: mobile telephony, pay TV and Internet access – was distinguished for the second time by the British financial magazine Euromoney in the „Best Managed Companies in Central & Eastern Europe 2015” ranking.

While taking into account the market strength, profitability, growth potential and quality of management and revenues, 447 analysts from the leading banks and experts of the financial market selected the leading, in their opinion, companies from the Central and Eastern Europe.

Cyfrowy Polsat was named the best managed company in the telecommunication sector and was ranked 8th in the general classification of the Central and Eastern Europe region.

Financial market professionals evaluated development strategies, their coherence, transparency of operations and financial reporting as well as the management team’s competence. In the second quarter of 2015, Cyfrowy Polsat Capital Group – as a result of the consistent execution of the strategy – recorded a significant growth of the number of users of the smartDom Program and Internet access as well as outstanding results of the TV production and broadcasting segment. Accomplishment of the above mentioned operating goals led to the solid financial results – revenue of PLN 2.47bn, EBITDA of PLN 977m, EBITDA margin of 39.6% and free cash flow of PLN 1.491bn.
