On the back of excellent sales of the smartDOM multiplay bundles, in Q3 2014 the Cyfrowy Polsat Group posted strong operating results with a further upside potential – a growth in the number of contract services and ARPU, with table churn.
After twenty years of working for Polsat Group, CEO Dominik Libicki tendered his resignation from the functions of the President of the Management Board of Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. and the Vice-President of the Management Board of Polkomtel Sp. z o.o. Dominik Libicki justified his decision by difference of opinions as regards the methods of implementation of Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. Group’s strategy.
The Cyfrowy Polsat Group has reported excellent operating and financial performance for Q2 2014. It has also been for the first time that the Cyfrowy Polsat Group’s consolidated financial results included Polkomtel, owned by Cyfrowy Polsat since its acquisition of Metelem Holding Company Limited in May 2014.
October 17th 2014 Telewizja Polsat has signed a preliminary agreement for the acquisition of 100% of shares in the Muzo.fm radio for PLN 4.3m. The Polsat Group is developing a wide reaching integrated music project, to be accessible on TV, radio, and the Internet.
