In connection with the information regarding refinancing of its total debt being contemplated by Cyfrowy Polsat Group, Standard&Poor's Rating Services (S&P) placed Cyfrowy Polsat’s and Polkomtel’s ratings on its CreditWatch Positive.
Polkomtel Sp. z o.o. received a Certificate of the Association of Energy Trading which confirms that the operator of Plus network joined the Code of “Best Practices of Electric Energy Sellers”.
The Certificate confirms that the company who received it had undergone an audit and offers to its customers clear and transparent terms of contract, without any legal tricks or hidden additional fees. The audit was performed by an external auditor - TUV Rheinland sp. z o.o. under the Code of “Best Practices of Electric Energy Sellers” prepared by the Association of Energy Trading.
Plus introduced the HD Voice technology for all its customers on the entire territory of Poland. Thanks to HD Voice, Plus customers can enjoy better quality of connections and higher comfort of phone calls.
Polsat turned out to be the unquestionable leader of viewership in the commercial group 16-49 in the first quarter of 2015, with 13.4% SHR. As the only channel among the so called ‘Great Four’ Polsat improved its audience share by 2% y-o-y. The remaining channels noted a fall in audience shares: TVN (12.67% SHR – decrease by 3%), TVP1 (8.87% SHR – decrease by 15%) and TVP2 (8.36% - decrease by 6%).
Polkomtel decided to discontinue active participation in the auction, in the part related to the 800 MHz spectrum blocks, and switched to a passive bidding mode. The company concluded that this will create an opportunity for realization of a positive auction scenario for the entire market and for customers.
Cyfrowy Polsat Capital Group posted very good operational and financial results for Q4 and for the whole of 2014.
Polsat TV will show the men’s and women’s European Volleyball Championship in the years 2015 and 2017. Polsat TV has acquired the exclusive rights to showing the championship tournaments in all fields of use, i.e. on TV, Internet and mobile devices. The 2017 Men’s European Championship tournament will take place in Poland.
Customers and the Mobility Trends Awards Chapter decided, by casting their votes, that Plus and Cyfrowy Polsat received the prestigious ”Golden Bell” awards at the 2014 Mobility Trends Gala in the following categories: ”Offer of the Year for Residential Customers,” “Mobile Internet Service of the Year,” and “Operator of the Year.”
