Comments from Management Board Members

Andrzej Abramczuk, President of the Management Boards of Cyfrowy Polsat, Polkomtel and Netia, Polsat Plus Group:

“Polsat Plus Group’s results are in line with our plans. We have simplified the multi-play offer while the fine sales results of this offer support the growth of ARPU and of retail revenue going forward. Our attractive autumn programming offer, along with a strong offer of sports coverage, translates to very good audience results, thus strengthening Polsat’s position on the advertising market. We remain no. 1 among on-line publishers. In the green energy segment we have completed the construction of our biggest wind farm in Drzeżewo and thus we are ending the period of capital-intensive projects related to renewable energy sources.”

Maciej Stec, the Vice President of the Management Board for Strategy at Polsat Plus Group:

“The sales results of our new multi-play offer have exceeded our expectations. Sales of bundles consisting of 3 and more services increased nearly threefold. As many as 11% of our customers have migrated to the new offer. Thanks to this we see high growth potential for our ARPU in the future. Already today the average revenue per retail customer exceeds PLN 80. Our ARPU continued to grow across all segments: in the case of residential customers it increased by 4%, reaching PLN 80.3, in the business clients segment ARPU increased by 2.1%, to the level of PLN 1.55 thousand, while in the prepaid services segment it grew by 3.4%, to the level of PLN 18.4. And if we combine this with the fact that our churn remains low, at 7.4%, we get a full picture of how successful our strategy is.”

“Over the first 9 months of the year our RES generated 15% more electricity than during the analogous period of last year. Our Q3 results remained under the pressure of the planned general overhaul of one of our power blocks generating electricity from biomass burning, the low energy prices on the market as well as the high base from 2024. What we are happy about is the fact that we have completed the construction of Drzeżewo wind farm, which results in a twofold increase of our installed wind power capacity. Today the wind power capacity is 289 MW. Assuming that energy prices will continue to be stable, this should translate to stronger EBITDA going forward. The green energy segment is our strategic long-term investment with a time horizon of 30 years.

Katarzyna Ostap-Tomann, the Management Board Member responsible for Finance and ESG at Cyfrowy Polsat, the Vice-President of the Management Board responsible for Finance at Polkomtel, Polsat Plus Group:

“We have posted financial results which are in line with the market’s expectations. When analyzing these results please bear in mind that the actual results have been impacted several one-off items – in the media segment it was the higher cost of the sports licenses due convergence of volleyball events and acquisition of new broadcasting rights in Q3, while in the green energy segment we had a planned overhaul of a biomass power block. At the same time I would like to underscore that our Group demonstrates high cash generation capabilities. CAPEX is under control, we have completed the planned investments into RSE, while in recent months we have acquired project financing in the total amount of PLN 953 million for our Drzeżewo wind farm.
