Polsat Box Go Awarded Bronze Shield at the 10th Festival of Socially Responsible Films

Date

Polsat Box Go received an award at the 10th edition of the “17 Goals” Festival of Socially Responsible Films – the only film festival in Poland dedicated to sustainable development, corporate social responsibility (CSR), ESG, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Bronze Shield was accepted by Anna Suplewska, CSR Coordinator, and Bartosz Wróblewski, director of the documentary series Migrants

The event was organised by the CSR Res Severa Foundation. The jury of the “17 Goals” competition, composed of experts from the NGO sector, CSR, film and business, recognised the best short-form productions (including spots, trailers, adverts, and reports) related to sustainable development, submitted by representatives of three sectors: public institutions, business, and non-governmental organisations.

Polsat Box Go, together with other brands from the Polsat Plus Group (Polsat, Polsat Box, Interia), has for years successfully pursued the ambitious goals of the 2023+ Strategy in the CONTENT area. For its effective efforts to promote equal opportunities and combat inequality – in line with the 10th Sustainable Development Goal – the platform was awarded third place, confirming its commitment to building a more inclusive society.

The jury awarded Polsat Box Go in recognition of the powerful social message conveyed in the trailer for the Migrants documentary series.

The awards ceremony took place on 1 October at the Rialto cinema in Poznań, with representatives from the Editorial and Multimedia Department and the Corporate Communications Department in attendance – Bartosz Wróblewski, director of Migrants, and Anna Suplewska, CSR Coordinator. The award was presented by Rafał Górecki, a juror at film festivals.
