The Management Board of Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. (the “Company”) hereby announces that on 23 December 2025, TiVi Foundation, the Company’s dominant entity with its registered office in Liechtenstein, exercising its personal right under Article 14(2) of the Company’s Articles of Association to appoint and dismiss the President of the Management Board of the Company, resolved to dismiss Mr Andrzej Abramczuk from the position of President of the Management Board and appointed Mr Piotr Żak to this role.
Curriculum vitae
Piotr Żak has served as President of the Management Board of Telewizja Polsat since January 2024.
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of London and is a graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw.
Since 2014, he has been engaged in business activities in Poland, focusing on building and supporting start-up ventures. His professional interests center on the modern technology sector, particularly the creation and development of innovative projects leveraging the potential of both online and traditional media, online entertainment, and data transmission in services and products for individual and business customers.
From March 2016 to July 2024, he served on the Supervisory Board of Telewizja Polsat Sp. z o.o., and since January 2024 he has held the position of President of the Management Board of the company. In June 2018, he was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Cyfrowy Polsat S.A., the parent company of the Polsat Plus Group, where he served as Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board from June 2023 to July 2024.
Between 2018 and 2024, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of Netia S.A., one of Poland’s largest telecommunications operators, and from 2019 to 2024 served on the Supervisory Board of Polkomtel Sp. z o.o., the operator of the Plus network. From 2020 to 2025, he sat on the Supervisory Boards of Asseco Poland S.A. and Mobiem Polska Sp. z o.o. Since November 2020, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Grupa Interia.pl Sp. z o.o., and between 2023 and 2025 held supervisory roles in companies within the Interia.pl Group and Liberty Poland. From 2021 to 2025, he served on the Supervisory Board of Asseco Cloud Sp. z o.o., and from 2021 to 2024 held supervisory positions in selected special-purpose entities of Port Praski Sp. z o.o. Between 2022 and 2024, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of ZE PAK S.A., and from 2023 to 2024 served on the Supervisory Boards of InterPhone Service, PAK-Polska Czysta Energia, and selected special-purpose entities within PAK-PCE.
Piotr Żak is not engaged in any activities competitive to Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. and is not entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained by the registry court.
