In Q1 2026 Polsat Plus Group posted very good results of sales of its new offer of multi-play services. Polsat TV extended the contract for broadcasting of UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League matches up until 2031. Polsat-Interia held the no. 1 spot among online publishers. Production of green power from wind increased by 67%
In Q1 2026 Polsat Plus Group posted very good financial results which exceeded the consensus forecast. Revenues grew by 3%, reaching PLN 3.6 bn, while adjusted EBITDA increased by 4.7%, to PLN 847 mn, thus exceeding market expectations by 2.4%. Free cash flows for the past 12 months, adjusted for CAPEX in the green energy segment, grew by over 60%, reaching nearly PLN 1.2 bn.
Major events in Q1 2026:
- The number of customers using multi-play services grew to over 3 million. Multi-play offers are used by as many as 54% of the Group’s customers
- Consistent growth of ARPU across all customer segments – the ARPU from B2C customers increased to PLN 82.2 (+5.8%), in the case of B2B customers it increased to PLN 1.57 thousand (+3.8%), while for prepaid customers it increased to PLN 17.8 (+4.7%). At the same tome churn for B2C segment remained at a low level of 7.9%.
- The Group signed a term sheet with Cellnex group which defines the strategic framework of the companies’ cooperation. The agreed, long-term parameters of cooperation will support growth of Plus’s 5G network coverage and enhancement of the network’s quality, while also leading to cost efficiency improvements.
- Thanks to the attractive scheduling and strong offer of sports programs, Polsat TV channels achieved very high audience share results, with the total market share at 21.9%. Polsat TV Group’s revenue from TV advertising and sponsoring increased to PLN 324 mn, thus giving the Group a high share in the TV advertising market of 28.5%.
- The Group acquired exclusive rights to broadcasting of UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League matches in the period up until 2031. The Group’s strong offer of sports coverage also includes Wimbledon tennis tournament, ATP Tour and volleyball matches shown by Polsat Sport channels, as well as coverage of matches played in European football leagues (French, Spanish and German) and Formula 1 racing on Eleven Sports channels.
- Polsat-Interia Group invariably continued as the leader among Polish online publishers. It also maintained the no. 1 position in the mobile category. On the average, Polsat-Interia Group’s websites were visited by 20.5 million users every month, generating 1.9 billion page views.
- Polsat Box Go offer was enhanced by adding 23 channels from TVP and TVN stations and now it offers access to a total of nearly 200 channels.
- Netia expanded the portfolio of the services that it offers in the cyber-security area for B2B clients by adding CTI (Cyber Threat Intelligence). The solution enables the organizations to identify and neutralize threats still before the actual occurrence of a security incident.
- As regards the green energy segment, as a result of expansion of its wind power production capacity Polsat Plus Group recorded growth of electricity output by 18%. It generated 327 GWh of green energy – 176 GWh from wind power, 12 GWh from solar power and 140 GWh of electricity from biomass burning. EBITDA for this segment of operations increased by 73%, to the level of PLN 99 mn.
