Plus is consistently developing its network infrastructure. As part of its ongoing rollout programme, the operator launched and modernized a further 492 base stations, expanding the coverage of its 5G network. As a result of these investments, Plus 5G now reaches nearly 75% of Poland’s population, equivalent to almost 28 million people.
The development of network infrastructure remains one of the key pillars of Plus’s strategy. In the latest phase of the programme, the operator upgraded a total of 492 base stations, including 313 newly launched sites and 179 modernized locations. These investments enhance service availability in both major cities and smaller towns.
Thanks to these projects, almost 28 million residents of Poland can now access the Plus 5G network, representing nearly 75% of the country’s population. At the same time, the network covers close to 36% of Poland’s geographical area.
313 new sites across Poland
As part of the current expansion phase, Plus launched 313 new base stations. The highest number of new sites were deployed in the Wielkopolskie, Podkarpackie, Dolnośląskie, Łódzkie and Mazowieckie regions.
179 sites modernized
Alongside the rollout of new infrastructure, Plus has continued upgrading its existing network. A total of 179 base stations were modernized, including sites located in 154 towns and cities such as Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź, Poznań, Gdańsk, Szczecin, Bydgoszcz, Lublin, Białystok, Gdynia, Katowice, Szczyrk, Jedlina-Zdrój and Barcin.
Through these efforts, the operator is increasing network capacity and improving the quality of mobile services in areas experiencing growing demand for data transmission.
